SENIOR CLASS PARTY-PHHSSP*
We will have a table set up in the lunchroom on January 20 for students to RSVP for the Senior Class Party following graduation.
The cost to RSVP is $10 per student, and we will also be collecting T-shirt sizes at that time.
Thank you for your continued support as we work to make this a memorable celebration for our seniors.

BLOOD DRIVE
The Interact club is hosting a blood drive Monday, January 19, from 8:00am-12:30p. Everyone who attempts to donate will receive a pair of black/white flannel pants while supplies last. If you would like to donate please sign up online

SNOWBALL
Hear ye! Hear ye! You are cordially invited to descend into a world of pure wonder, where imagination reigns supreme and the impossible becomes possible. Leave the ordinary world behind and step through the looking glass for a night of enchantment, dancing, and perhaps a touch of madness at this year's snowball dance. A Night in Wonderland will be held on Saturday, February 7th. Don't be late, for this very important date!" Secure your ticket at lunchtime starting Monday, January 19th. Cost is $15 per person.
MUSICAL
CREW ANNOUNCEMENT
The Hastings High School production of FIDDLER ON THE ROOF is under way, and crew applications are now open! Go to hastingsmusical.com if you would like to apply to work behind the scenes in the technical aspects of the show including sets, lights, projections, special effects, and all of the other magic that makes our HHS productions successful. Again, please visit hastingsmusical.com for the application. These are due Jan 20th.
CLUBS
SKI CLUB
The next Ski and Snowboard club trip will be Friday, January 23rd departing from HMS at 3:30 and returning at 9:30 (please note there is no school this day so make sure you arrange for rides to HMS). If you had a van ticket reserved for the trip that was cancelled on January 9th, that will be carried over for the trip on January 23rd. . Those that would still like to go and didn't sign up, need to contact Mrs. Laubaugh by noon on January 21st to reserve your seat.
If you are planning on skiing or snowboarding on the 23rd, but not using school transportation you MUST make arrangements to purchase your lift tickets from Mrs. Laubaugh! Email her at kristen.laubaugh@hassk12.org to make arrangements.
There is still time to join the Ski and Snowboard club. Paperwork is available in the office.
STUDENT SERVICES
AP Payment
AP students, this is another reminder to get your AP Payments in as soon as possible! The deadline to turn in AP Payments was Dec. 19th, so please get those to Mrs. Erb as soon as you can. If you aren’t sure how much you owe, ask your AP teachers. (1/16)
CREDIT RECOVERY
Registration is open for the HHS Credit Recovery program, which runs from January through April. Credit Recovery utilizes the Edgenuity software program online, and is designed for students to recover credit(s) lost in previously failed high school courses. Interested students should pick up a Registration Application from Mrs. Erb in the Counseling Department. Credit Recovery will run Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:15 to 5:15, from Jan. 6 until April 30, located here at the high school in Room D204. Attendance is required. Questions? Contact Mrs. Erb. WINTER STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING
If you're looking for something to do this winter or want to stay in shape for a spring sport, join Winter Strength and Conditioning. This will be taking place every Tuesday and Wednesday after Christmas break from 3:15 to 4:30 in Mr. Knop's room (D205). This is open to everyone, so if you want to get faster and stronger for baseball, softball, soccer, track, or tennis this spring, please come out! SOFTBALL
Any Girls interested in playing softball this Spring, there is a signup sheet outside the Athletic Office in The Commons. Coach will pick the sheet up on Wednesday.
